Delete your Petunia account

This is how to delete your account in Petunia, the plant-care app by Supertrained Inc.

In the app. Open Settings, choose Delete account, and confirm. The account is deleted 30 days later. You can restore it until then.

Without the app. Choose “Deletion” in the form below and use the email on your Petunia account. We will email you to confirm it is you. Then we delete the account.

What we delete. Your account and profile, plants, spaces, notes, care logs, photos, conversations, Petunia’s memories, and your garden address and location.

What we keep, and for how long. Encrypted backups are overwritten within 7 days after deletion. We keep request records and email only as long as needed to show how we handled the request or answer you. Server logs are kept as long as needed to run and secure the service. App usage data and crash reports held by PostHog and Sentry are not yet deleted automatically with your account; ask us and we will request their deletion. Usage events, screen recordings and crash reports otherwise expire on the schedule in the privacy policy. PostHog also keeps a profile for your random account ID, which stays until we delete it.

To leave the Android beta or iPhone waitlist, choose “Deletion” and say which list.

Other privacy requests

For access, correction, export or deletion, we email the address you enter to confirm it is you before we make a change. California: 45 days. Opt-outs: 15 business days. GDPR: one month, with up to two more months for a complex request after we tell you why. Do not send passwords, card numbers or copies of ID unless we specifically ask after that confirmation email.

California residents who only want to opt out of sale or share can also use Do not sell or share. Global Privacy Control is honoured without this form.
